President’s Broadband Initiative

The Broadband Opportunity Council, established by a March 23 Presidential memorandum, is seeking public comment on how the Executive Branch can take steps to promote broadband deployment, adoption and competition. The Council will recommend ways to remove barriers, encourage investment, work effectively across multiple levels of government, and coordinate federal broadband efforts. The Council will hold a public webinar on May 20 to provide additional information on the request for comments.
